What the Camera Saw: Himalayan Blue Poppies

Restless nights create the perfect time to get lost in serene blues of Himalayan Poppies. When I can’t sleep, wandering through pictures relaxes my wired brain. Doug and I had slipped up to Longwood Gardens in March to catch one of the last days of the blue poppies in bloom. Sorting through my photos of that day brings back the peace that exists in those gardens. Here is what the camera saw:

Following the seasons at Longwood Gardens has brought a calm rhythm to our lives. Getting lost in the beauty of nature is soul restoring.

Thank you for taking the time to wander through the gardens with me.

Thank you Andrea! I would live at Longwood Gardens if they would let me. The light is ever changing and there are so many nooks and crannies to explore.

So much beauty in your photos, Terri! Thank you for sharing. (I especially appreciate your generosity, as I rarely even remember to bring a camera, much less turn it on and even less, attempt to take a picture. ) Longwood Gardens seems just lovely! I vaguely remember visiting there many years ago. Thank you again, dear friend!
